**If you know me at all, you can probably surmise that christmas is my favorite holiday (not really a big surprise). Well, i'm trying something new this christmas. For the next twenty-five days i'm going to (attempt to) post once a day with a few words on Christmas.**

I suppose these days, the start of the Christmas season is sort of a murky line. Most people you ask will say it's after thanksgiving. If you go to stores and coffee shops, christmas decorations come out after halloween. Of course, a large cause of the concept of there being a "christmas season" these days really revolves around retailers trying to get people to buy stuff. However, if you strip away all the stores and the lights and the wreaths and mall santas, you still have a holiday wrapped in Christian tradition. It's a season celebrating the birth of Jesus and a promise of hope that comes with the Messiah. That's one of the many reasons why I love Christmas.
Plus I do fancy a well decorated christmas tree.
