eggnog sitting in a bowl,
ready for christmas??
An afternoon with friends, sitting around sipping eggnog and singing christmas carols – it doesn't really get more festive than that. Christmas has always been a time where family and friends gathered together, and yesterday was no different. Of course, outside the door in sleepy sac, it was pretty much the end of the world. Winds gusting up to 32mph and rain coming down at you pretty much sideways and almost from below.
Inside, however, sitting around with old and new friends, we passed the time in merry singing and conversation. One of the songs sung was Oh, Christmas Tree, which is an old german song translated into english. I vaguely remember my uncle singing and teaching me O Tannenbaum in the original german. I didn't remember the lyrics, but here's the song. Hope you enjoy.
